Ghanaian musician, Kofi Kinaata, has revealed his determination to ensure that the ‘Made in Taadi’ event takes place this year.
In previous years, the event did not materialize, leaving his fans disappointed. However, Kofi Kinaata is determined to change that narrative this year.
During an interview on Daybreak Hitz with Andy Dosty, the rapper emphasized that he is committed to organizing the event, even if he does not receive sponsorship.
He mentioned that he is willing to use his own resources to make the event happen, including covering the costs of flights and accommodation for musicians traveling from Accra to Takoradi to perform.
Kofi Kinaata also shared that he has sacrificed lucrative opportunities to prioritize ‘Made in Taadi’ in the past, sometimes even running at a loss to put on the concert. Despite the financial challenges, he finds fulfillment in bringing joy to his fans through the event.
One noteworthy aspect of the ‘Made in Taadi’ concert is that it is a free show for attendees, and all the artists who perform during the event do not charge any fees.
In appreciation of their support, Kofi Kinaata ensures that he provides the artists with tokens as a gesture of gratitude at the conclusion of the event.
