Gospel musician Joyce Blessing has made waves in the music industry with her collaborations with Becca, the late Jewel Ackah, Amerado, and King Paluta. Now, she is setting her sights on working with more secular artists to expand her musical horizon.
During an interview on Daybreak Hitz with Andy Dosty, Joyce expressed her desire to collaborate with some of the biggest names in the secular music scene.
She mentioned that she would love to work with Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, and Shatta Wale, showcasing her openness to blending her gospel sound with different styles.
Addressing the question of why she chooses to collaborate with secular artists, Joyce stated that no one had been bold enough to ask her about it. She emphasized that she enjoys the creativity and unique sounds that come from working with a diverse range of musicians.
Despite her openness to collaboration, Joyce revealed that a fellow gospel artist declined to work on a song with her, suspecting that the individual viewed her as a competitor. This experience has not deterred Joyce, as she continues to pursue new collaborations and explore new musical territories.
After the success of her remix of ‘Overdo’ with Amerado, Joyce recently released a new song featuring King Paluta titled ‘Correct’.
