Ghanaian gospel artist, Georgia Adjei, recently shared a heartwarming story of how Empress Gifty came to her rescue after a difficult surgery.
During her Royal Worship event at Global Prayer Palace in Accra on Sunday, October 6, Georgia Adjei surprised Empress Gifty with a beautiful pencil portrait to show her gratitude.
Georgia Adjei opened up about the challenges she faced after her surgery, which left her in a tough financial situation.
With only GH₵30 to her name and instructions from the doctor not to go hungry, Georgia Adjei sought financial assistance from Kwadwo Dickson of Angel FM, a close friend. However, she was pleasantly surprised to encounter Empress Gifty at the station, who generously offered her money to cover her expenses for a week.
Moved by Empress Gifty’s kindness and generosity, Georgia Adjei expressed her gratitude, stating, “Today, if I am alive, it is because of God’s grace through Empress Gifty. She came through for me when I was hungry after my surgery, and her assistance saved me.”
Touched by the unexpected act of kindness, Georgia Adjei decided to surprise Empress Gifty at her events as a way of showing her appreciation.
With a career spanning 30 years in the ministry, Georgia Adjei is known for her popular songs like “Enye Mahooden,” “Dea Awurade Aye Me,” and “Praise The Lord.” Empress Gifty, deeply moved by the gesture, expressed her gratitude and thanked Georgia Adjei for the honor.
