Gospel artiste Joe Mettle has made it clear that he is not interested in collaborating with any secular artist on a song. In an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM, Joe Mettle explained that his decision is based on spiritual reasons.
He mentioned that he had a conversation with Sarkodie about this matter and they both understood each other’s perspectives.
During the interview, Joe Mettle emphasized the importance of listening to the spirit when making decisions about collaborations. He stated, “Remember a conversation about what the Spirit says… When the spirit allows you to do certain things, he has His reasons for it but once I have a release in my spirit, I will do it.”
Despite receiving requests from some individuals for collaborations, Joe Mettle is firm in his stance and will only consider them when he feels it is the right time spiritually.
He explained, “I don’t want to do it because I have so many friends and to do one will mean doing it for all. I have had a few of my friends aside from Sarkodie such as Manifest arguing I don’t want to give them a feature in songs but truly, I will when the time comes.”
Currently, Joe Mettle is on a media tour to promote his upcoming event, Praise Reloaded, which will take place on June 30 at the Accra Sports Stadium under the theme “Holy Spirit the Encounter”. This event is expected to be a powerful and uplifting experience for all attendees.
