An autopsy conducted on the body of the late Nigerian singer, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as MohBad, has revealed some key findings that shed light on the possible cause of his untimely death.

The autopsy carried out at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), pointed to a potential drug reaction as a contributing factor to his demise.

According to the report obtained by TheCable, while the exact cause of MohBad’s death remains uncertain, there are speculations about a potential drug reaction based on limited post-mortem and toxicology findings.

Samples of the late singer’s gastric content, blood, bone marrow, liver, kidney, and lung were collected for a comprehensive toxicology examination, which revealed the presence of diphenhydramine, an antihistamine, in MohBad’s system.

However, the concentration of diphenhydramine detected was not considered fatal or lethal.

Furthermore, the anatomical and pathological examination indicated an injury on MohBad’s right forearm, and his body was found to be moderately to severely decomposed upon exhumation.

The report suggested the possibility of a fatal anaphylactic shock or drug reaction, despite inconclusive post-mortem and toxicology results. Anaphylactic shock is a severe allergic reaction with life-threatening implications.

The report also mentioned that the body was not autopsied or embalmed before interment on the second day after MohBad’s passing.

Following an Order for Exhumation, his body was exhumed 8 days after burial, revealing moderate to marked decomposition of organs.

The toxicology results showed positive findings of diphenhydramine but in a non-fatal range, with other analytics being unremarkable.

Unfortunately, due to the burial on the second day, a blood sample was not taken quickly enough to determine a fatal anaphylactic shock.

The report concluded that the cause of death could not be ascertained definitively, but the possibility of a fatal anaphylactic shock (drug reaction) was considered in light of the limited post-mortem and toxicology findings.

MohBad, who passed away at the age of 27 on September 12, 2023, under mysterious circumstances, was laid to rest the following day.

The circumstances surrounding his death continue to raise questions and suspicions, with authorities and investigators working to uncover the truth behind the tragic loss of the talented young artist.
