The highly anticipated Ghanaian comedy movie, ‘Check-In’, is scheduled to make its debut at Silverbird Cinemas on April 12, 2025.
The film revolves around a chaotic situation at a secluded hotel during a blackout. In the midst of the turmoil, a clever attendant must uncover hidden connections among the guests to restore peace before their secrets tear them apart.
Produced by Bella Agyeman, the movie boasts a star-studded cast including Kofi Okyere-Darko (KOD), Clemento Suarez, Jeneral Ntatia, Priscilla Opoku-Agyeman, Felicia Osei, Gideon Kojo Boakye, Clinton Odoi, Fiifi Jefferson Pratt, and Gabriel Hogan.
During a media briefing, Bella Agyeman revealed that the filming process was filled with a week of enjoyment on set. She particularly highlighted the performances of Clemento Suarez and Felicia Osei in their respective roles.
Encouraging Ghanaians to show their support for the local film industry, Agyeman called for a massive turnout on the premiere day. She also addressed some of the challenges faced by the industry and urged leadership to take concrete actions to overcome them.
Agyeman emphasized that tackling these issues would empower filmmakers to produce high-quality movies, thus providing employment opportunities for the youth in the sector.
