The highly anticipated premiere of Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as Lilwin, latest film ‘A Country Called Ghana’ in Kumasi will still go ahead despite the actor’s recent involvement in a car accident.

Lilwin, along with others, sustained injuries in a head-on collision that occurred in Amakom, a suburb of Kumasi in the Ashanti region.

According to eyewitnesses, the accident took place on Saturday morning as Lilwin was driving at high speed from the Amakom intersection to the WAEC area.

He reportedly veered into the adjacent lane, resulting in a collision with a private family car carrying a father and his four-year-old child. Unfortunately, the child suffered severe head injuries and was unresponsive.

Despite the damages to both vehicles and the injuries sustained by Lilwin and his passengers, one benevolent onlooker, Marcus, assisted in sending the actor to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.

Marcus mentioned that although Lilwin’s car was severely damaged, his condition was not critical, and he was responsive.
