Renowned playwright and director, Uncle Ebo Whyte, is set to showcase his latest theatrical production titled “Dubai Or No Sex” this weekend.
The play revolves around the story of Adwoa, who becomes envious of her husband’s junior, Simon, and starts demanding unreasonable luxuries like a fancier car, a more luxurious lifestyle, and vacations in exotic destinations like Dubai instead of the preferred Kwahu.
As the plot unfolds, Adwoa’s husband, Barnabas, rejects a lucrative opportunity that could fulfill her desires. This leads Adwoa to issue an ultimatum that could potentially ruin their marriage forever. “Dubai or No Sex” explores themes of honesty, integrity, and the influence of social media on relationships.
The production will run from March 29th to April 7th, 2024, with showtimes on Fridays at 7 pm, Saturdays at 4 pm and 8 pm, and Sundays at 1 pm, 4 pm, and 8 pm.
