Wanderlust Ghana, a renowned travel group, is gearing up for an extraordinary adventure that will see them traverse an impressive 30,000 kilometers over the course of three months, visiting 30 countries.
The journey is scheduled to kick off on Monday, September 30, 2024.
The official send-off ceremony took place at the iconic Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park and was organized by the Ghana Tourism Authority on Sunday, September 8.
The event was filled with excitement and anticipation as the team prepared to embark on their epic exploration.
In their previous expedition in 2023, Wanderlust Ghana covered 10,000 kilometers, starting from Accra and making their way through various African countries before reaching London in the United Kingdom, and continuing their journey through Europe.
Speaking at the launch event, Kwabena Peprah, the CEO of Wanderlust Ghana, expressed the group’s mission to position Ghana as a top tourist destination for international travelers.
He emphasized the importance of showcasing the country’s rich cultural heritage and natural beauty on a global scale.
The ambitious project is a collaborative effort between Wanderlust Ghana, the Ghana Tourism Authority, and the Ministry of Tourism.
The team is prepared to navigate diverse landscapes, from the deserts of Mauritania to the modern skyline of Dubai, and all the way to the southern tip of Africa in Cape Town.
Their itinerary includes stops in countries such as Côte d’Ivoire, Morocco, Spain, France, Turkey, Kenya, and many others.
