Ceejay Multimedia, the outfit behind the successful Akwaaba Festival, is gearing up for Season 3 of its annual Miss Akwaaba culture and tourism reality show.
The organization is calling for Ghanaian women aged 18 to 35 to audition for the 13-week show, with the goal of selecting 20 finalists who can effectively promote the values of Ghanaian tourism and culture.
CEO of Ceejay Multimedia, Joe Osae, emphasized the importance of showcasing Ghana’s culture and tourism to the world, stating that young people who are passionate and knowledgeable about these topics are crucial for advancing this agenda. Auditions for Miss Akwaaba Season 3 will take place on April 26 and 27 at Ceejay Tv Studios in Lapaz, Accra.
Osae highlighted the opportunities available in the culture and tourism sectors for young individuals, emphasizing that the Miss Akwaaba reality show is just one avenue for showcasing the talents in these industries. The winner of Miss Akwaaba Season 3 will receive a car and a cash prize of GHȼ10,000, while the first and second runners-up will receive cash prizes of GHȼ7,000 and GHȼ5,000 respectively.
Osae encouraged eligible women to participate in the show to help promote Ghana’s culture and tourism on a global scale.
The ultimate goal of the Miss Akwaaba reality show is to bring attention to the richness of Ghana’s culture and tourism industry and to empower young individuals to become ambassadors for the country.
