Renowned retired Commissioner of Police, Kofi Boakye, celebrated his 61st birthday in grand style at his opulent new home in Accra.
The event, which took place on May 1st, attracted a distinguished crowd from various sectors of Ghanaian society.
Among the guests were influential figures such as Osei Kwame Despite, Dr. Ofori Sarpong, Sammy Kuffuor, Dr. Christian Kwasi Agyeman, Samuel A. Jinapor, Sammy Gyamfi, Kwaku Manu, Dr. Randy Abbey, and members of the East Legon Executive Men’s Club.
The celebration featured performances by highlife legend Kwabena Kwabena, accompanied by the Police band, delighting the audience with soulful melodies.
Kofi Boakye, also known as “Commander One,” retired from the Ghana Police Service on his 60th birthday in 2023 after a remarkable career dedicated to combating crime in Ghana. His birthday celebration was a testament to his esteemed legacy and contributions to the nation’s security.
