Voiceover artist Mark Dodson dies aged 64 after cardiac arrest

Renowned voice actor Mark Dodson, known for his iconic voice characterizations in films such as Star Wars: Return of the Jedi and Gremlins, has passed away at the age of 64.

According to his daughter, Dodson suffered a sudden and massive heart attack while attending Horror Con in Evansville, Indiana.

Dodson’s distinctive voice brought to life the character of Salacious Crumb in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, as well as the voice of Mogwai in Gremlins, a role that became highly recognized and imitated by many.

Throughout his career, Dodson worked in various mediums, including film, video games, radio, and commercials, cementing his legacy as a talented voice artist.

His daughter, Ciara, expressed her pride in her father’s accomplishments, stating that he never ceased to make her proud.
