Dr. Dre, the legendary rapper, and producer, was recently honored with his very own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The ceremony took place in Los Angeles, with loved ones and fellow music industry icons by his side.

His Beats Electronics co-founder, Jimmy Iovine, and long-time friend and collaborator, Snoop Dogg, gave speeches at the event. Eminem and 50 Cent were also in attendance to show their support for Dre.

Snoop Dogg, in his speech, expressed his gratitude towards Dre, calling him a mentor, brother, guardian, and friend. He praised Dre’s impeccable work ethic and perfectionism, which has always pushed him to be great.

The event was a star-studded affair, with other notable artists like Eminem, 50 Cent, and Snoop Dogg performing together and posing for photos after the unveiling of Dre’s star.

Dre, in a previous interview, had lauded Eminem’s talents, calling him the best MC ever. He emphasized Eminem’s unparalleled imagination and skill on the microphone, stating that no one could touch him in the rap game.

The ceremony also marked a moment of reconciliation between Eminem and Snoop Dogg, who had previously had a falling out. Dre’s health scare in 2021 brought the two artists back together, leading to a resolution of their feud.
