Renowned music producer, Edward Nana Poku Osei, popularly known as Hammer, recently opened up about the short-lived marriage he had years ago, shedding light on the reasons behind the divorce.

Hammer revealed that his marriage only lasted five months, and the lack of compatibility between him and his ex-wife was the primary reason for their separation. The producer shared that they decided to get married after having a child together out of wedlock, in an effort to avoid societal judgment.

Despite not being deeply in love, Hammer believed that their union could work and opted for a traditional and low-key wedding. However, it soon became apparent that their lack of affection for each other would not sustain the marriage, leading to an amicable agreement to part ways.

Reflecting on the situation, Hammer acknowledged that while the match was not made in heaven, they were able to maintain a friendship, especially because they co-parented a child together. Decades after the divorce, his focus has been on prioritizing his children, and he expressed that he is not actively seeking remarriage.

However, Hammer did mention that he is currently in a relationship with a wonderful woman and is open to the possibility of getting married again in the future. He stated, “I am currently with a very great woman, and with time and God, you know, it will happen, but I am not in a hurry.”
