Phyna, the winner of Big Brother Niger, has recently come forward to express her frustration over not receiving all the prizes promised to her for winning the show.
The Practitioners of Content Creating, Skit-making and Influencers Guild of Nigeria (PCCSIGN) have also raised concerns with the organizers of Big Brother Naija regarding the delayed prizes for Phyna.
According to Phyna, she is still waiting to receive her BTC prize, which is worth over ₦90m, as well as the trip for 2 that she was promised.
The PCCSIGN has written a letter to the organizers of Big Brother Naija on behalf of Phyna, highlighting the outstanding debts owed to her by Quidax Global, Pepsi, Travelbeta, and Evans Industries.
After discussions with the show’s organizers, the PCCSIGN released a statement indicating that the delays in prize disbursement have been resolved, with the exception of the 1 BTC from Quidax Global.
The PCCSIGN has requested that MultiChoice Nigeria honor its commitments and settle the outstanding debt owed to Phyna within three days.
Failure to do so may result in the matter being escalated publicly and legal action being pursued against the company.
