Famous actor Kevin Spacey recently admitted in an interview with Piers Morgan that he has been “too handsy” in the past.
This confession comes after allegations of inappropriate behavior that led to a halt in his career back in 2017.
Despite being found not guilty of sexual assault charges in both the UK and the US, Spacey is currently facing a civil trial over an allegation of sexual assault in 2008.
During the interview, Spacey discussed his past behavior, acknowledging that he had “pushed the boundaries” and engaged in actions that he now recognizes as inappropriate. He stated that he has been “gentle with people” and that he would not describe his actions as “groping.”
When asked about the potential criminality of his actions, Spacey emphasized the importance of clear communication and consent, stating that individuals should make it known if they are not comfortable with a situation.
He also expressed his readiness to take accountability for some of his past actions, which he described as “bad, bad, bad behavior.”
Despite facing numerous allegations of inappropriate behavior, including fresh claims made in a recent documentary, some Hollywood stars have come out in support of Spacey. Actress Sharon Stone expressed her excitement at the prospect of seeing Spacey back at work, calling him a “genius.”
However, Spacey’s career has certainly been impacted by the allegations against him. He was fired from the Netflix series House of Cards and had his scenes from the film All the Money in the World reshot with a different actor.
Despite these setbacks, Spacey remains a controversial figure in the entertainment industry.
