Well-known to Z100 listeners as Uncle Johnny, John Marino was a beloved radio personality in New York City. Born on April 13, 1942, Marino became a familiar voice on the iHeartRadio broadcast for nearly a decade.

Affectionately known as the World’s Oldest Intern, Uncle Johnny was known for his sense of humor and for coining some of Elvis Duran’s trademark phrases such as “Hello lady!” and “What are you, bananas?”
