Amanda Shires, born in 1982 in Lubbock, Texas, is a talented singer-songwriter and fiddle player. She has been a member of the country music supergroup, The Highwomen, since 2019, and has also been part of the alternative country and indie rock band, Thrift Store Cowboys, since 1999. With multiple solo albums under her belt, Amanda continues to captivate audiences with her music.
Jason Isbell, 45, filed for divorce from Amanda on December 15, 2023, with the couple citing irreconcilable differences. The pair’s marital struggles were highlighted in the 2023 documentary, Running With Our Eyes Closed.
