The search is on for three missing tourists who disappeared while on a surfing and camping trip in Mexico. Among the missing is Jack Carter Rhoad, an American surfer from San Diego, California, who was vacationing with Australian brothers Jake and Callum Robinson.

The group failed to check in to their accommodation in Ensenada on April 28, 2024, sparking concern among their loved ones. Debra Robinson, the mother of Jake and Callum, posted a plea for help on a local community Facebook page after not hearing from her sons since April 27.

Mexican authorities discovered a vehicle, tents, and a cell phone during their search of the area where the men were last spotted. CNN reports that Baja California has seen an increase in cartel violence in recent years and that three Mexican nationals are being questioned in connection with the case.

Tragically, on May 3, 2024, a search team found human remains in the town of Maneadero in Baja California. While authorities suspect these may belong to Jack, Jake, and Callum, confirmation is pending.

Jake and Callum Robinson have been described as accomplished individuals, with Callum being a 33-year-old lacrosse star who has played in the Premier Lacrosse League in the United States. Jake, on the other hand, is a doctor who has worked in regional hospitals across Australia.

The disappearance of these three tourists has left their families and friends anxiously awaiting answers as the search for them continues.
