Andre Pugh, a popular Atlanta DJ known as DJ Awesome, was convicted in 2018 for the murder of his wife, Tiffany Pugh.
The tragic incident took place on November 23, 2014, when Tiffany was found shot to death in their East Point home in Georgia. Pugh initially called the authorities, claiming his wife had been murdered, but it was later discovered that he was not present at the scene at the time of her death.
Following an extensive investigation, law enforcement concluded that Pugh conspired with his best friend, Adrian Earl Harley, to commit the heinous crime. The motive behind Tiffany’s murder was believed to stem from her plans to divorce Pugh, prompting him to hire Harley to carry out the act.
In 2018, Andre Pugh was found guilty of murder and sentenced to life in prison at Hancock State Prison in Georgia. His accomplice, Harley, also received a life sentence and is currently incarcerated at Smith State Prison in Glenville, Georgia.
