Popular Broad City actress Abbi Jacobson has tied the knot with her wife, Jodi Balfour, in a secret ceremony in 2024.
The two have been in a private relationship for several years, but now fans are eager to learn more about the woman who captured Abbi’s heart.
Jodi Balfour, a South African actress born in Cape Town in 1986, gained recognition for her role in the TV series Bomb Girls in 2012.
Her performance in the show earned her a Canadian Screen Award in 2015. Jodi has also appeared in hit shows like The Crown, Ted Lasso, and For All Mankind. Apart from acting, Jodi is a co-owner of a popular coffee shop in Vancouver named Nelson the Seagull.
Abbi and Jodi exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony at Public Records in New York City on June 5, 2024. Despite the rain forcing them indoors, the couple made the most of their special day, sporting dresses from The Row.
Abbi described their wedding as unexpected yet exactly what they had hoped for, surrounded by friends and loved ones in a unique setting.
Abbi Jacobson, known for her work on Broad City and A League of Their Own, met Jodi virtually during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.
