According to Country & Town House, Challengers was filmed in Boston, as well as other Massachusetts towns, from May 3 to June 26, 2022. Star cast members Josh O’Connor and Mike Faist shared their experiences of filming in Boston during a virtual press conference at The Maybourne Beverly Hills in Los Angeles, California. Faist mentioned that he and O’Connor spent a lot of time getting to know each other in Boston before filming, which helped them form a strong on-screen connection.
