In 2012, the killer claimed three lives in Berlin, starting with a man found dead at sex club Grosse Freiheit 114 in April that year.

Investigators struggled to identify Dirk P. due to lack of evidence at the crime scene, but they were aware of disturbing patterns in the murders.

One victim, Nicky Miller, was known for dressing as a woman and often frequented the club where he met his tragic end.

Despite inconclusive evidence, suspicions of murder lingered around Nicky’s death due to his exposure to GHB.

Similar deaths followed, with Alexander and Peter also falling prey to Dirk P.’s deadly scheme.

Police managed to link the crimes when one intended victim, Miroslaw Wawak, survived an attack and connected the dots between the victims.

Capture and Sentencing

Dirk P.’s crimes were short-lived, as he was sentenced to life imprisonment in June 2013 following a detailed investigation.

Prior to these heinous acts, Dirk P. had a clean criminal record and even served as a trainee teacher.
