Back in the late 1980s, the hit sitcom series ALF took the world by storm with its quirky, furry alien who crash-landed in a suburban garage and found a new home with the Tanner family.

Running from 1986 to 1990, the show featured four seasons and 102 episodes, with the alien known as ALF – Alien Life Form – amusing audiences with his witty comments about humans and his obsession with eating the family cat.

Fast forward more than three decades after the show ended, fans are left wondering where the stars of ALF are now, especially after some recent shocking news about Benji Gregory, who played the youngest Tanner, Brian.

Paul Fusco, the man behind ALF as a puppeteer and voice actor, continued his career in TV series like Spacecats before making guest appearances in various shows.

Mihaly ‘Michu’ Meszaros, who brought ALF to life in full-body shots, continued to find work in the entertainment industry after his time on the show.

Max Wright, who portrayed Willie Tanner, the head of the Tanner household, appeared in guest roles before taking on a leading role in the TV series Norm. Unfortunately, he passed away in 2019 at the age of 75 due to cancer.

Anne Schedeen, who played Willie’s wife in the show, focused on her family after the series ended. Andrea Elson, who played the eldest Tanner child, Lynn, has since retired from acting and has pursued a career as a yoga instructor.

Benji Gregory, who portrayed Brian Tanner, decided to leave the entertainment industry to join the navy, but tragically passed away in 2022 in a car park in Arizona due to extreme heat.

John LaMotta, who played the Tanners’ neighbor Trevor Ochmonek, had a successful career in TV and film but referred to his time on ALF as his “worst work”. He passed away in 2014 at the age of 75.
