Ghanaian music sensation Kofi Kinaata has weighed in on the recent incident involving Fameye and a DJ during a live performance in London.

The incident, where the DJ played the wrong track leading to Fameye’s frustration on stage, has sparked conversations on how artists should handle such situations.

During an interview on Daybreak Hitz with Andy Dosty, Kinaata expressed his thoughts on the matter. He mentioned how challenging it can be to face such issues on stage, especially when it might be the audience’s first time seeing the artist perform.

Kinaata highlighted that technical errors by DJs or bandsmen can sometimes be misconstrued as the artist’s fault by the audience.

Sharing his personal experience with live performances abroad without his personal DJ, Kinaata emphasized the importance of addressing issues backstage. He mentioned that even when angry, he prefers to solve the problem behind the scenes and then perform acapella for the audience.

The “Things Fall Apart” hitmaker stressed the necessity for artists to stay composed and adaptable in the face of mistakes during performances. He acknowledged that communication is key in managing challenges that arise during live shows.
