Ghanaian gospel singer, Joe Mettle, is mourning the loss of his friend and colleague, Kofi Owusu Dua Anto, popularly known as KODA.
In a recent interview on Joy Prime’s Changes show, Mettle expressed deep sorrow over the passing of KODA, stating that it has been a challenging time for him.
Describing their friendship, Mettle shared how difficult it was to come to terms with the fact that KODA is no longer with us.
He said, “Sometimes we’re still living in denial about the fact that maybe he’s still around. Once in a while, you have the awareness that he really is gone.”
Despite the pain of losing KODA, Mettle remains steadfast in his faith, believing that his colleague is now resting peacefully in God’s arms.
The final funeral rites for KODA are set to take place on Friday, September 20, at KICC Dominion Center, off Spintex Road.
