When it comes to the skincare industry, beauty is big business.
One person who knows this only too well is entrepreneur Jasmine Wicks-Stephens and her six-figure skincare brand, Faace.
Jasmine is also the CEO and founder of beauty public relations firm Known PR. She drew upon her industry knowledge and contacts to design Faace’s first products.
She created her unique brand after having her children, as she didn’t have “enough time for skincare”.
Jasmine used her personal savings to cover the initial costs of the products.
“I thought maybe I should create a routine that was really simplistic to understand and use,” she said.
“But still with lots of really good ingredients and lots of good stuff in there so you wouldn’t feel like you’ve completely fallen off the skincare wagon. I wanted it to be that you could apply it anywhere, at any time.”
Faace is a skincare brand that targets hormonal skin, helping and nurturing skin affected by menstrual cycles and menopause.
The brand offers four different masks, two cleansers, a moisturiser and a soap bar that can be used on your face and body.
For hormonal skin, the best-selling Period Faace mask costs £27 and provides an average of 40 uses per tube. Faace’s Menopause Faace Daily Face Cream costs £31 for a tube.
Jasmine will be appearing on Dragons’ Den to ask for investment into her company.
You can see her face the famous Dragons on February 15, 2024, from 8pm on BBC One.
Jasmine’s company Faace has a lot of exciting plans for the future, and she is set on growing the brand and awareness around it.
