Prophet Nigel Gaisie, the founder of the Prophetic Hill Chapel, recently shared a personal revelation about his past struggles with smoking.
In a candid interview with Hitz FM, he disclosed that he started smoking marijuana at the young age of thirteen. Nigel attributed his introduction to the drug to a friend named Anokye, who took him to Odawna railway to partake in the substance.
Reflecting on his impoverished upbringing, Nigel confessed, “I grew up in an extremely poor background. If there is a word beneath poverty, that is where I came from.
My mum was extremely poor, my dad [was] nothing to write home about.” This difficult environment played a significant role in shaping his early experiences with drug use.
Furthermore, Nigel shared a poignant memory of a local woman who sold kelewele, a popular Ghanaian snack, at the place where they smoked marijuana.
He recounted how the woman refused to sell him kelewele due to his smoking habit, highlighting the social stigma and consequences associated with drug use.
Known for his controversial prophecies, Nigel Gaisie also made a bold declaration regarding the upcoming elections in Ghana.
He expressed his determination to ensure that the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) does not retain power after the December 7 election, emphasizing his role as a man of God in influencing political outcomes.
In a humbling admission, Nigel acknowledged that he does not always get his prophecies right, attributing this fallibility to his humanity. He emphasized the importance of remaining spiritually alert and avoiding distractions that could cloud his prophetic insights.
Moreover, Nigel acknowledged past mistakes in his ministry, attributing some inaccuracies to his youth and inexperience. This candid reflection underscores his commitment to personal growth and spiritual development as a prophetic figure.
