Blakk Cedi, the former manager of Stonebwoy, recently shared about his involvement in Shatta Wale’s performance at the ‘Freedom Street Concert’ in Jamaica, organized by Vybz Kartel.
In a social media post, Blakk Cedi expressed his gratitude to Shatta Wale for allowing him to be part of the team that ensured the success of the event.
“I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for the opportunity to serve as part of your team during the Freedom Street Concert in Jamaica. It was an honor to contribute to your vision, and I do not take that privilege lightly,” Blakk Cedi wrote.
He also thanked Shatta Wale for his respect, trust, and love throughout the process, noting that it was inspiring to witness his artistry up close. Despite their past differences, Blakk Cedi wished Shatta Wale well in his future endeavors.
Blakk Cedi, who previously managed artists such as Kelvynboy and OV under his Blakk Arm Group, parted ways with Stonebwoy in 2019. Before their separation, he had a close relationship with Stonebwoy and even served as his best man at his wedding.
One notable incident showcasing his loyalty to Stonebwoy was during the 2019 VGMAs when he intervened in a scuffle between Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale on stage.
