Ghanian actress and Onua Showtime host, Nana Ama McBrown, left her fans beaming with joy when she took part in the Coup du marteau dance challenge.

The dance is associated with the Ivorian viral song ‘Coup du marteau’ and the 2023 AFCON where Côte d’Ivoire emerged as champions of Africa after beating Nigeria.

Nana Ama McBrown danced to the song by Ivorian musician Tam Sir and several other Ivorian musicians including Team Paiya, Ste Milano, Renard Barakissa, Tazeboy, and PSK.

Wearing a tight blue dress with sparkling silver elements, McBrown expressed her joy in the dance challenge as she grooved to the song. Her video quickly caught the attention of her followers who praised her dance as a celebration of the Ivorian win.

The video comes at a time when many have taken to social media to join the Coup du marteau dance challenge, and McBrown’s enthusiastic participation has delighted many.

The dance associated with the song went viral during the 2023 AFCON tournament despite the event having its own theme song, Akwaba.
