The countdown has begun for the highly anticipated 90s Jam event, set to take place on Friday, January 3, 2025, at Pleasant Gardens in Accra.
As preparations are underway, some of the best disc jockeys in Ghana are gearing up to showcase their talent and bring back the nostalgic sounds of the 90s.
DJ Black will be on deck, spinning hip-hop, house, and jungle beats, while Andy Dosty will be serving up hiplife and dance music.
Iggy will set the mood with slow jams, and DJ Wobeti will bring the vibes with R&B and funk tunes. Nii Ayi Tagoe will ensure that dancehall and reggae lovers are not left out of the mix.
The event, hosted by Joy FM, promises to be a trip down memory lane, celebrating the vibrant fashion, iconic dance moves, and timeless music of the 90s era.
Attendees can expect to groove to hits from Ghanaian legends like Reggie Rockstone, Akyeame, Buk Bak, and many more, as well as jam to classic tracks from American superstars like Tupac Shakur, Naughty By Nature, and Notorious BIG.
To add to the retro ambiance, the venue will be transformed into a 90s wonderland, complete with neon lights, vintage decor, and photo booths inspired by the decade. Food and drink vendors will be on hand to keep energy levels high as guests dance the night away.
