For the fifth consecutive year, Joy FM producer Philip Nai and his companions have once again extended their hands of generosity to children in celebration of Christmas.
Demonstrating the true spirit of Christmas, Philip Nai organized the 2024 edition of his charity event, known as Philip Nai and Friends, in the community of Agblezaa in Teshie, Accra.
The event took place on December 24, 2024, at the Agblezaa Action Chapel. Supported by friends from the media, arts, and corporate sectors, Philip Nai distributed food items, educational materials, clothing, and entertainment to the children of the community.
The day was filled with activities such as musical performances, health screenings by Sonotech Medical and Diagnostic Centre, sip and paint sessions, dancing competitions, and musical chairs.
Prominent figures such as broadcast journalist Nana Aba Anamoah and gospel musician Cwesi Oteng graced the occasion and spent time interacting with the children.
Nana Aba Anamoah took the opportunity to advise the children on the importance of being polite and courteous in their interactions with others. She emphasized the significance of using words like “please” and “thank you” to foster a sense of responsibility and good manners.
Cwesi Oteng, famous for his hit song ‘God Dey Bless Me’, also treated the audience to some of his popular tunes.
Philip Nai and Friends is a charitable initiative founded by Philip Nai, a well-known producer at Joy FM, a subsidiary of The Multimedia Group.
