It is no secret that many musicians who have left Lynx Entertainment have struggled to maintain a strong brand presence. However, Kuami Eugene seems determined to break this trend.
Having worked closely with Lynx Entertainment boss, Richie Mensah, for the past eight years, Kuami Eugene believes he has gained valuable knowledge that will help him defy the so-called ‘Lynx Jinx’.
In a recent interview on Joy FM’s Showbiz A-Z, he expressed gratitude for the opportunity to learn from Richie and mentioned that Richie has allowed him to establish his own record label.
Reflecting on his experiences, Kuami Eugene shared, “I’ve been in the same room producing with Richie multiple times so I’ve learned a lot, the production skills and he knows so much about this business – this showbiz business. He’s made so many people, so I am also learning that bit from him.”
Despite his plans to eventually sign other artists to his label, Rockstar Records, Kuami Eugene emphasized that he is currently focused on building his own brand.
He acknowledged the challenges of being a solo artist and expressed the need to solidify his position in the music industry before taking on additional responsibilities.
In the meantime, Kuami Eugene has released an all-star peace song along with two other tracks titled “Problem” and “Show Down.”
He also outlined his aspirations to host larger events and make significant achievements before considering bringing other artists under his wing.
