Dancehall sensation Stonebwoy has hinted at a possible performance at a campaign rally for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) ahead of the 2024 general elections.
In an interview with Hitz FM, the musician expressed his interest in the gig but emphasized that his decision would depend on reaching a satisfactory agreement on the fee.
“I think there’s one call from the NDC now. To be clear, I haven’t spoken to any NDC person though there has been a call from them. We’re checking on the money level and if it goes well, I’ll perform to my fans so I can use some of the money for the BHIM festival,” Stonebwoy revealed.
The artist also took the opportunity to advocate for peace during the upcoming elections, emphasizing that his performances are for the unity and well-being of Ghana as a whole.
“December is coming, so peaceful elections are all we seek. When you see me on any platform, I’m performing for peace, whether NPP, NDC, CPP, it’s for peace because we are all one Ghana, Ghana first, Ghana must win in the end,” he said.
