Ho Technical University defeats KSTU, TTU, KTU to retain Joy Prime’s Big Chef Tertiary trophy

Ho Technical University emerged victorious in the Joy Prime Big Chef Tertiary culinary competition for the second time, showcasing their culinary skills and expertise in a battle against Koforidua Technical University, Takoradi Technical University, and the host school, Kumasi Technical University.

Representatives Sharifa and Jones, prepared diligently to defend their title as champions in the tertiary culinary education sector. Despite facing challenges throughout the competition, all four finalists delivered outstanding performances, but HTU outshone the rest to claim the top prize.

The winning team received a 20,000 cedis cash prize, a brand new four-burner gas range from Integas Kitchen, a table fridge, and a microwave oven from Victor Electronics, along with certificates of participation and products from sponsors.

Kumasi Technical University, the first runner-up, was awarded a brand new HGG-700 gas griddle, a burner, a 10,000 cedis cash prize, and certificates of participation.

The second runner-up, Koforidua Technical University, received a 2-tank-2 basket gas fryer, a microwave oven, a 5,000 cedis cash prize, and certificates of participation. Takoradi Technical University, the third runner-up, took home a table fridge, a microwave oven, a 2,000 cedis cash prize, and certificates of participation.

Ho Technical University once again demonstrated their culinary talent and expertise, solidifying their position as the best in the Big Chef Tertiary culinary contest. Congratulations to the team on their well-deserved victory.
