Channel One TV and Citi FM launch 2025 heritage month

Channel One TV and Citi 97.3 FM have joined forces to kick off the much-anticipated Heritage Month 2025, an event dedicated to showcasing and safeguarding Ghana’s rich cultural heritage.

The official launch took place at the Tesano Gardens of Channel One TV on Friday, February 28, 2025, with a gathering of key industry stakeholders, traditional leaders, and cultural enthusiasts.

The Guest of Honour at the launch event was the Minister of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Dzifa Abla Gomashie, who commended Channel One TV for taking the lead in celebrating Ghanaian culture and using their platform to promote it.

She highlighted the importance of media playing a crucial role in preserving and promoting Ghana’s heritage.

Heritage Month is not just about recognizing historical milestones but serves as a vibrant platform for Ghanaians to immerse themselves in the diverse and colorful aspects of their heritage.

Throughout March 2025, a series of exciting activities and programs will engage audiences to explore various elements of Ghana’s identity.

The flagship event of Heritage Month, the Heritage Caravan, will commence on Sunday, March 2, 2025, taking participants on an eight-day road trip across 14 regions of Ghana.

Dubbed “Caravanites,” the travelers will experience an immersive cultural, historical, and natural journey throughout the country.

As Ghanaians unite to celebrate Heritage Month, Channel One TV and Citi FM reaffirm their dedication to entertaining, educating, and promoting national unity through cultural expression.

This year’s Heritage Caravan promises new twists and exciting additions, offering travelers an unforgettable adventure through Ghana’s diverse landscapes and traditions.
