Kumawood actor and entertainer Kwadwo Nkansah Lil Win has set his sights on the Afigya Kwabre North Constituency parliamentary seat in the 2028 elections.
Making the announcement, Lil Win explained that he had initially planned to run in the recent elections but decided to step back due to concerns raised by some individuals.
Inspired by the electoral successes of fellow entertainment personalities like Baba Sadiq, Kwame A Plus, and Ebi Bright, Lil Win expressed his determination to enter politics and bring change to his constituency.
He boldly declared his intention to unseat Ken Dapaah’s nephew, Owuraku, in the upcoming elections.
Reflecting on his decision to postpone his candidacy for the current elections, Lil Win shared that the overwhelming attention and advice he received prompted him to wait until 2028.
He firmly believes that the youth have a vital role to play in governance and hopes his candidacy will inspire more young people to actively participate in shaping the country’s future.
