Renowned marriage counsellor Charlotte Oduro has shared her thoughts on the ongoing marital issues between celebrities Fella Makafui and Medikal, sparking widespread public interest.
During an interview with Nana Yaa Brefo on Onua TV, Oduro expressed her concern that the couple’s decision to discuss their problems publicly could be damaging to their public image.
She advised that instead of airing their grievances in public, those close to Medikal and Fella should step in privately to address the situation. Oduro also called on the public to show support for the couple, rather than criticizing them for their struggles.
“The Ghanaian community should show their support. We should not allow them to wash their dirty laundry in public. Everyone faces challenges at home. It is now the time for those who care about them to step in privately and help resolve the issue,” she stated.
Furthermore, Oduro emphasized the importance of handling their differences in a peaceful manner, even if it eventually leads to a divorce. She explained that allowing society to pass judgment on their personal matters would not be beneficial, as everyone deals with their own domestic issues.
Oduro’s comments come in the wake of Medikal’s recent social media outburst against Fella Makafui, following an incident where he claimed she had reported him to the police.
The conflict reportedly began when Medikal asked Fella’s cousin to vacate their shared residence. Currently, the couple is embroiled in a legal battle over their home and the custody of their daughter.
