Ghanaian entertainment pundit Arnold Asamoah-Baidoo has taken a swipe at award-winning musician Medikal for what he perceives as unnecessary antics to promote his upcoming London concert at the Indigo O2 on May 3, 2024.
Arnold made his disapproval known during his appearance on UTV’s United Showbiz program on Saturday, April 6, 2024.
The outspoken commentator criticized Medikal for resorting to what he described as “stunts” to generate buzz for the event.
The criticism comes amidst a growing trend of artists using sensational tactics to attract attention to their projects.
While some argue that any publicity is good publicity, Arnold believes that there are more sustainable and authentic ways to promote one’s work without resorting to gimmicks.
