Ghanaian dancehall artist, Shatta Wale, has shared an interesting revelation about how he seeks protection using the word of God. In a recent interview with GTV’s Kafui Dey, Shatta Wale disclosed that his favorite scripture in the Bible is Psalm 35, which he turns to in times of difficulty.
What sets Shatta Wale apart is his unique practice of tearing out the Psalm 35 chapter from the Bible, soaking it in water, and bathing with it. This unorthodox method, according to him, helps shield him from life’s attacks and gives him a sense of confidence.
Shatta Wale explained that this practice stemmed from a previous habit of immersing the Psalm 35 chapter in his mouth for protection. Despite the skepticism from his friends about desecrating the Bible, Shatta Wale emphasized that everyone has their own beliefs and rituals, and it all comes down to personal conviction.
While some may find Shatta Wale’s methods unconventional, he advised his followers not to be influenced by his actions and reiterated that he is not encouraging anyone to tear the Bible.
