Award-winning actress Yvonne Nelson has opened up about her strained relationship with rapper Sarkodie after the release of her memoir, “I Am Not Yvonne Nelson.”
In her book, Nelson shared intimate details about her past relationship with Sarkodie, including a sensitive topic such as abortion.
Speaking about the current state of her connection with the legendary rapper, Nelson admitted that there has been a significant rift caused by the revelations in her book.
She clarified, “There was no rift between us. We are not friends, and after what happened in the book, we have not been close friends. It is okay for people to feel the way they feel, but that doesn’t stop anyone from telling their stories.”
The actress and rapper were once close, as seen in pictures from the past, but it seems their relationship has been affected by the contents of Nelson’s memoir.
