Gospel singer Eric Oduro, also known as Erico, has recently opened up about the shocking reason behind his divorce from his ex-wife.
In a candid interview on Adom TV’s Okukuseku, Erico revealed that he lost all trust in his ex-wife after discovering that she was sharing nude photos with her lover in Dubai.
According to Erico, the problems in their marriage began when he was diagnosed with kidney disease. In an attempt to test his wife’s loyalty, he falsely claimed to have only 5 months to live, when in reality, he had a six-month window for recovery.
Despite initially seeming supportive, Erico’s wife’s behavior took a drastic turn as she engaged in sexual conversations with her lover in his presence.
The breaking point for Erico came one night when he pretended to be asleep and overheard his wife taking explicit photos of herself to send to her Dubai lover.
Shocked and heartbroken, Erico confronted his wife about the incident and made the decision to prioritize his health by leaving their matrimonial home and ending the marriage. He has since fully recovered and is now focusing on his gospel ministry.
