Ghanaian social media sensation and influencer, Dulcie Boateng, recently opened up about the challenges that led to her parents’ divorce and how she found financial independence through adversity.

In an interview with Deloris Frimpong Manso on The Delay Show, Dulcie revealed that her parents’ differing cultural backgrounds – her mother from Aburi and her father from Brong Ahafo – caused tension in their relationship, ultimately leading to their separation.

Dulcie shared that a turning point in her life came in 2017 when she achieved financial stability and decided to move her mother to a new location. This decision played a significant role in her parents’ divorce, as her mother chose not to return to her husband after the move.
