Mc Yaa Yeboah criticizes FDA’s stance on spiritual products

Media personality MC Yaa Yeboah has raised concerns about the Food and Drugs Authority’s (FDA) lack of regulation on products that make spiritual claims.

In a recent statement, MC Yaa Yeboah argued that even if a product claims to have spiritual benefits, it is still a physical product that is consumed by individuals. Therefore, she believes that these products should undergo certification to ensure their safety and harmlessness before consumption.

The criticism comes after the FDA announced the arrest of Fella Makafui for selling unlicensed and unregistered products.

Following this news, social media users have begun calling out other influencers, such as Yaa Jackson and Hajia Bintu, urging the FDA to take action against them.

Hajia Bintu specifically faced scrutiny for promoting a product known as ‘kayanmata,’ which is believed to be a love potion. However, the FDA responded by stating that they only regulate physical products and cannot assess the efficacy of spiritual products.

This response from the FDA has sparked further criticism from MC Yaa Yeboah, who believes that the agency is failing to protect consumers by not regulating all products, regardless of their spiritual claims.
