Hollywood star Jamie Foxx recently opened up about the health scare that landed him in the hospital last year. During a Netflix special, the Django Unchained actor revealed that he had suffered a brain bleed leading to a stroke.
Foxx recounted the scary experience of blacking out for 20 days after a severe headache and shared how his family, including his sister Deidra Dixon and daughter Corinne, supported him through the ordeal.
Foxx’s daughter Corinne had initially kept his condition private until he was ready to speak about it.
The actor expressed gratitude for his family’s unwavering support and joked about his unsteady head movements post-stroke. Despite waking up unable to walk and undergoing rehabilitation in Chicago, Foxx remained optimistic about his recovery.
The star emphasized the importance of recognizing the signs of a stroke, which include face weakness, arm weakness, speech problems, and other sudden symptoms like vision loss, difficulty speaking, memory loss, severe headaches, and dizziness.
