Media personality MC Portfolio has weighed in on the ongoing debate sparked by BullGod’s recent claim that music videos are no longer relevant in the music industry.

During an interview on Daybreak Hitz with DJ Slim, MC Portfolio expressed his disagreement with BullGod’s statement, emphasizing the significance of music videos in contemporary artistry.

According to MC Portfolio, not having a music video can be seen as unprofessional in today’s competitive market.

He believes that visually engaging content is essential for artists to establish a strong brand identity and make a lasting impression on potential investors. “It doesn’t really give you that kind of reverence that we have to put on your brands,” he stated.

On the other hand, BullGod had advised musicians to refrain from investing money in music videos, citing the changing consumer preferences and commercial viability of video content. He asserted that creating music videos in 2025 is no longer a worthwhile endeavor as people are consuming less video content than before.

Portfolio’s perspective sheds light on the evolving landscape of the music industry, where visual content plays a crucial role in enhancing an artist’s brand and reaching a wider audience.
