Kumawood actor Nana Kofi Agyeman, popularly known as Oboy Siki, has made bold statements regarding his political stance in comparison to other celebrities who have endorsed Ghana’s major political parties, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

During an exclusive interview with AMBASSADOR TV, Oboy Siki expressed his reluctance to align himself with any political party but mentioned that he would critique them when necessary. He also voiced his concerns about celebrities endorsing political parties for personal gain rather than the country’s progress.

Oboy Siki claimed that his political sensibility surpasses that of his fellow celebrities in the entertainment industry, including actors and musicians who openly support NPP and NDC. He believes that his non-partisan stance allows him to influence people’s voting decisions more effectively due to his extensive political knowledge and experience.

Furthermore, Oboy Siki warned his endorsing colleagues about the potential negative impact political affiliations could have on their careers. He emphasized his freedom to criticize both NPP and NDC impartially, highlighting his deeper understanding of political issues.

“By remaining independent of any party, I can genuinely criticize NPP and NDC without bias. My understanding of politics sets me apart from entertainers who endorse these parties,” Oboy Siki reiterated.
