Prominent lawyer Maurice Ampaw has issued a warning to celebrity power couple Medikal and Fella Makafui, threatening legal action if they continue to make their marital issues public.
Speaking on Onua TV, Ampaw expressed his concerns about the couple’s influence on the youth, stressing the importance of keeping personal matters private to protect their young followers.
“If they release any information about their marriage, I will take them to court. I will change the dynamics for these two,” Ampaw stated firmly. “They are adults who made the decision to get married, and they keep sharing details that are not suitable for our children. These matters should be kept confidential, especially from young unmarried individuals who should not be exposed to such content.”
Ampaw also criticized Fella Makafui’s response to Medikal’s previous disclosures, suggesting that she should have taken immediate legal action against him for breaching confidentiality.
Highlighting the lack of legal counsel in Fella’s team, Ampaw recommended filing a lawsuit and seeking an injunction to prevent any further public discussion about their marriage.
“Fella’s management team needs legal advice. The appropriate action would have been taking Medikal to court for breach of confidence as soon as he started discussing their relationship,” Ampaw advised.
Recognizing that every relationship faces challenges, Ampaw advised the couple to proceed with caution as they consider their next steps.
