Ghanaian music icon Dada KD, known for his highlife music, recently disclosed his plans to tie the knot at the age of 65 in order to avoid the temptation of adultery.
During an interview on the Asaase Breakfast Show, the 53-year-old musician emphasized his desire to wait until he reaches the age of 65 before getting married.
“I don’t want to marry and then fall into adultery later on,” Dada KD stated during the interview.
Despite being a father to a 27-year-old son, he is cautious about advising young individuals to get married due to societal pressures.
The singer also offered advice, particularly to those living in Accra, mentioning that marrying without financial stability in the city could feel like a punishment.
Addressing past rumors about his relationship with gospel singer Diana Asamoah in 2022, Dada KD clarified that he is not married but has five children.
Known for hits like ‘Somu Gye,’ the chart-topping artist remains focused on his music career and intends to wait until he is 65 before taking the plunge into matrimony.
