Renowned Ghanaian dancer Afronitaaa, whose real name is Danita Akosua Adomaah Yeboah, recently made a public statement revealing that she is not currently seeking romantic relationships.
In a live interview on Hitz FM on April 8, Afronitaaa emphasized her dedication to achieving specific life goals, stating that her main focus is on personal priorities. She made it clear that she plans to reconsider dating only after accomplishing her objectives.
“At the moment, my priorities take precedence. I have numerous aspirations to pursue, and I want to establish myself before diving into romantic commitments,” she explained.
When asked about potential suitors, Afronitaaa humorously replied, “I’ll bounce you like a tennis ball,” sparking laughter from the audience.
Although Afronitaaa acknowledged that she doesn’t receive many advances from men, she attributed it to the assumption that she might reject them.
“It’s not necessarily negative, but I believe people hesitate to approach me because they fear rejection. Boys tend to think that way,” she remarked.
Despite this perception, Afronitaaa clarified that she maintains close friendships with males and doesn’t give off an intimidating vibe.
Sharing amusing encounters, Afronitaaa recounted various instances of being approached by men, including an elderly gentleman expressing interest in her.
“Some approaches are quite humorous. Once, someone DM’d me saying, ‘Hi, can I have you if you’re not married?’ Who sends a message like that? He was a mature man,” she shared, chuckling.
